Apple has 100% marketshare of the OSes on macs, and restrict you to apple certified hardware to include in the computers.
Apple is way worse when it comes to locking out competition on their platforms.
for the same reason mcdonalds doesn't sell whoppers.
I'd agree with u if it were any position except animator/modeler.
That is one of the positions that would really develop content for all platforms being developed for.
"Twitch gaming like halo"
what? halo isn't twitch gaming. If you can play halo like a twitch gamer, you can play anything like a twitch gamer.
@ the article
The biggest reason PS3 exclusives look better than 360 exclusives is because they have longer development cycles, have more money spent on their development, or have more people working on them.
Gears had between 20-30 people working on it at any given time, and a dev budget of...
The article is actually very pro-PS3 if you read it.
does anyone else think phil harrison looks creepy?
"I'm also not a fanboy of any system in any way (I own all three, though that may not matter to some people on this site. You'll see the reason I say that below)"
BAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
but that comes with my legal right to defend myself to the best of my ability afterwards.
There are only 2-4 reviews out for fuel. It's way too soon to judge it. I'm guessing the average will be around an 8 in the end from the complaints I'm hearing.
What do I get if I win?
If you think M$ doesn't announce same year titles ever you are sorely mistaken. L4d and GeoW2 were both announced the same year they were released. RacePro was only announced 7 or so months before its release. Ninja Blade about 7 months too.
I wouldn't judge M$'s lineup till after their press conference. Especially with it only 4 days away.
I can't read the tiny print :(
The fact that it's on rails means it can be co-oped locally (very pro wii) and that they can use all their processing power exactly how they want to resulting in a better playing game. It is probably one of the best looking wii titles for sure.
It is one of the best looking rail shooters I've seen possibly ever.
It's almost 4 years old. It was literally the FIRST shooter of this generation. Of course it feels aged.
And it wasn't the best, but it was still fun. Co-op was fun, multiplayer was fun, the single player was decent. Not perfect, maybe disappointing, but not a horrible game. If it didn't have the "Perfect Dark" name tied to it, it wouldn't even be that disappointing.
Since M$ bought them they've had 11 titles on M$ platforms, and about the same released for the DS. The bulk of those titles have been released in the last 4 years.
Just because 2 games (PDZ and Banjo nuts and bolts) didn't do great doesn't take away from the fact that they're still making good games. Kameo and Viva Pinata were both great original franchises. Conker was one of the best online games on the original xbox. PDZ even wasn't as bad as a lot of people make it out to be....
where did this home come from?
U know what else copies home? Call of duty. People interact in real time in a realistic 3d environment in that. TOTALLY A HOME RIP OFF.
If you look at gamespot, which u brought up, they have a lot of reviewers. Because one of them didn't like it, doesn't mean they all don't. And they rated dragon quest VIII a 9, so they must really like all turn based rpgs then right?
I checked 6 of their recent 360 reviews, and there were 5 authors. 5 authors in 6 games of one of seven sections of their website. I'm sure all their reviewers have exactly the same opinion about everything.
One review should not discredit a site. Each site has dozens of reviewers. Just because one of them doesn't agree with your tastes on an individual game you've never played in a very specific genre that's only got a handful of decent games in it already doesn't mean he's going to differ in opinion with you in other genres or on other games.
If you discredit sites so easily, the only site you'll be able to trust in the end is your blog, as you'll turn to writing one after finding ...
I never said that. I said the team that worked on Gears 1 was only between 20-30 people through development. Cliffy B said it in an interview.
